1959 - 1962

• On the lower left hand side of cylinder block just above the edge of the oil pan.
• Frame, top surface of left side bar adjacent to radiator support.
• Above cast rib on rear portion of crankcase, back of left hand block. Numbered at right angles with Crank.

1963 - 1964

• On the lower left hand side of cylinder block just above the edge of the oil pan.
• Top surface of the left side number one cross-member, forward of radiator.

1965 - 1966

• Rear portion of crankcase, top edge of housing face-back of valve cover at right angles with crankshaft.
• Frame top flange of left side rail at approx. point where it ramps down toward the number one cross-member.

1967 exc. Eldorado

• Rear portion of crankcase, top edge of housing face-back of valve cover at right angles with crankshaft.
• Top surface on the right hand frame horn.

1967 Eldorado

• Rear portion of crankcase, top edge of housing face-back of valve cover at right angles with crankshaft.
• 16" from the front of the left hand frame side bar.

1968 - 1973

• On engine at rear upper portion of cylinder block
• On the transmission, at the left side of housing
• On the body, on the cowl at the left hand lower corner of windshield.
