| 1971 Cadillac Models If you are uncertain of your Cadillac model, you can use the Body Name Plate or VIN # to figure out exactly which model you have. See instructions below table.
*Commonly called "Series 75."
The "Body Name Plate" is attached to the top surface of the left air duct cover, under the hood, near the cowl. It can also be found in the front driver door jamb on some years and models. The name plate carries the style number. The first 2 digits represent the year, "71." The last 5 digits indicate the vehicle style. Use this style number along with the table above to identify your model. The VIN # can be found on the rear upper portion of cylinder block. Also on a steele plate, drivers side lower windshield, on cowl. The first digit of the VIN # will be a letter. This letter is the "body code." Use the table above to see which model the letter indicates. |
